Painting the kitchen
Last Monday we painted our kitchen. We picked out a color that we thought was a light sage green...wrong. More like pea green. Actually I don't hate the color, but it doesn't go great with our cabinets and counters, so I was kind of bummed. Too bad, because there is no way we are repainting it for quite awhile. Dean and I both dread painting, which is why we will have been here almost a year and still have more than half the house to finish. Hopefully it grows on us, but until then...

I love the color. I think you guys did a good job, green is my favorite but not Matts so that's why we don't have much of it.
i love that color..looks like the color in my kitchen but looks better in yours because you have new cabinets! next time just hire diane to do it..that's what i did in the house:) or just say that's her rent!!!:)
I know colors don't show up exactly right on the computer, but I really like the color. I'll have to come over and see it!
Looks good to me. Paint can be tricky. It never looks the same as the swatch they give you.

I think the color looks great. It's hard to get a true color from a photo on a computer screen, though. But I do like it. Have you found any of those cool vinyl cut outs that you like yet?
Ok, so now I feel even more dumb knowing that a 3 year old can waterski and I can't. Oh such a humbling thought! Well, she does have it in her blood! Go Autumn!
I personally LOVE the color of the kitchen. Maybe it looks different on the computer but it looks great to me!

I'd say give it a few days and you'll love it. When we painted our family room the color did not look like what we picked. I hated it at first, but it has grown on me. I think it looks great!
hpainting kitchens is the worst! I've done mine twice now- red the first time, now green. It takes wwwwaaayyy to much time. I'm all for big open walls!
